You are handing us an unpublished book. We think you should know exactly what happens to it, in plain language, before you upload anything.

The short version. Your manuscript goes into private storage that is not public and not listed. We use it to build your ad pack and for nothing else. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it to train AI models of our own. We keep it so we can rebuild or add to your pack later — and we delete it whenever you ask.

What we collect

Your manuscript and cover — required; we build your scenes, cast, images and videos from them.
Your book details — title, pen name, genre, and your Amazon link or ASIN if your book is published.
Your email address — to send your pack and to let you back into your work.
Your blurb, if you paste one in for the free positioning check.
Basic usage data — which pages you opened, so we can see where the funnel is confusing. See Cookies and tracking.

What we do with your manuscript

We read it automatically to find your characters, your scenes, and the moments that will sell the book. That analysis produces your casting, scene list and creative assets. A working copy is held on our own server while your pack is built.

We do not use your book to train AI models. We do send extracts to third-party AI providers as part of building your pack (see below) — that is how the analysis and the creative are produced. We do not publish your manuscript, share it with other customers, or sell it.

How long we keep it

We keep your manuscript and the work built from it for as long as you have an account with us, so that you can come back and reorder, add a product, or rebuild a pack without re-uploading your book. We do not currently delete it on a fixed schedule.

Who else sees it

Our AI and media providers, who process extracts of your book to generate your analysis, images and video. They act on our instructions.
Our hosting and payment providers, who store the files and handle your payment. Card details are handled by the payment provider — we never see or store them.
Our own team, when something needs a human — for example a build that failed, or a support question you send us.

No one else. We do not sell or rent your data.

Getting your book deleted

Email hello@bookadpack.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your manuscript. We will remove it and the working copies and confirm to you. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold about you.

Cookies and tracking

We use a small amount of analytics to see which pages people get stuck on, and a Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel. If you would prefer not to be tracked by advertising pixels, most browsers and mobile operating systems let you block them, and both Meta's ad settings and your device's "limit ad tracking" setting will stop the advertising use.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@bookadpack.com and a real person will answer.

If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at the top.
